Qualif.: - not bad result, I didn't manage a lap near my best time in practice sessions (59,4xx) but a high 59 in the last lap gave me a middle grid position. I'm never worried with canon starts, I even like to make my way through positions whenever possible because there are some good fights out there to enjoy, so I was quite satisfied with my start position.

Race: Good start, no bumps from behind, I think I lost a position to a DB4, but those first laps were fantastic. Close racing with good drivers, I was just enjoying the close racing I was missing for months. I drove calmly, not taking risks to shorten distances, keeping a cold head when near the back of other cars as I also didn't want to risk to ruin someone else race, enjoying the fun I was missing for months!

After 6 or 7 laps I spinned at T2 without damaging the car and lost 2 positions, but later in the race I think I got them back. About hat time Marek, coming from God knows where, appeared in my mirrors passed me after a while with a faster pace, but I managed to regain my position as he went a little wide entering T1 giving me the space I needed to place my lighter car on the inside and exiting in the front.
From that moment on, I saw that the 4 or 5 guys in front were too far ahead (5 or 6 secs) and too fast to catch, so I did the remaining laps trying not to make mistakes to secure my position by making as hard as possible that the cars behind could catch me and make pressure. Paul was close one or 2 times, but luckily I was able to finish ahead.

Great great race, I'm looking forward to the next one! :)

Q: 10
R: 10

Qual:
I coudn't make at least one clear lap as I did in practice session. No chance to go under 1:00, but anyway I finally did the laptime around it.

Race:
Bad luck at start because I was just behind Toni who had very very bad start (he mentioned turning off the engine) so I had to wait ages behind him for clear track. I lost 5 positions and I knew the race will be great from that moment due to possible overtakes. It was true. I had great moments with some drivers and I picked up 6th place finally when the first mistake came. I lost some positions again and again recovered some. I picked 9th when I was punted by Jag driver (I think it was Jorge) who missed the braking point on T1. I'm not complaining about that because I overtook him quite aggressive earlier. I'm happy with my one point without any practice on this track - good promise for the future. ;) I'm relaxed with this series while I'm driving and I look forward to the next event. I hope it will be good race with 15+ drivers as at Mallory Park.

Qualy: P5

Good pace in battle for Pole Position but finally P5.

Race: P2

Good start and good pace keeping P5 but the key here was no make mistakes. After rivals mistakes I was 3nd but my first mistake on hairpin braking zone cost me a spin and I gave the place to Paul so I was P4. Then front drivers mistakes and troubles up me to P2 and I had a second mistake hitting the barriers because I went off in T1 but I could continue P3 and finish 2nd after a mistake by Nolli on last laps . Good result.

P1: 2017 1st DRM Trophy. Ford
P1: 2015 R2P S37 Steel Wheels by Simracers 1979 Formula 1. Ligier-Ford Cosworth

Q: Tested both -Jag and Aston. Jag was quiker and wanted to have good race with Matheus. Ok'ish lap, didn't really care first or second place. Second it was.

R: Started easily, maybie too easily. Made many mistakes and pace wasn't at good level. Matheus took first place and i settled into second. Made bigger mistakes, run off track and fell 5-6sec behind. I collected myself and made better pace, but connection lost and thats about it.

So much sacrifice to end the race and crashed on final lap! Even after spending 3m25s in pit for repairs

Your overtake was more exhuberant than agressive I think... (Was nice to saw from my car) In the turn 1 incident I get the interior side quite fast thinking that you would keep the same wide line that you took in previous laps, but in that corner you tried to close the door a bit late (I didn't expect that), when I had placed my front wheels close to your rear axle, I managed to keep close to the right track side, but I was out of your mirrors, I think.
...
Anyways was a good fight :D

I think "exhuberant" is the correct word. I needed to push fast to the top because of start delay. Sorry for that but it is closest possible racing so I don't complain about your move although it cost me a lot. ;)

In this series (I'm writing it as an admin), if you feel angry with the other driver's behaviour, please fill in the protest and the right and severe solution will be points deduction or start from the back of the grid as the penalty.
